Watersound Inn Booking Conditions & Resort Policies

Booking Conditions

 

Front Desk

The Watersound Inn front desk is open from 10am – 6pm CT.

 

Check-In

Check-in begins at 4pm CT. Please check in at Watersound Inn, 6652 E. County Hwy. 30A, Suite 120, Inlet Beach, FL 32461.

 

Should you plan to arrive after 6pm CT, please let the hotel know in advance to receive after-hours arrival instructions.

 

Checkout

Watersound Inn guests may checkout at any time prior to 11am CT on the day of departure.

 

Rates

All rates and policies are based on availability and subject to change. Rates are subject to applicable taxes. Packages do not include alcohol and gratuity. Any unused portion of a package is non-refundable.

 

Deposit/Cancellation Policy

A deposit equal to 2 nights + tax + resort fee has been charged to your credit card upon making your reservation. We require a 14-day advance notice of cancellation for a full refund of your deposit.

 

If you cancel your reservation within the 14 days of your arrival date, you will forfeit the entire deposit. For reservations made within 14 days of arrival, cancellation must be made no later than 24 hours after making the reservation to avoid penalty. Reduction in room nights or a change of dates must be made 14 days prior to arrival or guest forfeits the amount of any unused nights. Any reduction in room nights or change of dates must follow any existing minimum length of stay requirements in effect for the dates of stay at the time the change is made.

 

There are no refunds for early departures. Early departures are not permitted or full payment of any unused nights will be forfeited. 

 

Non-Refundable Rate Policy

Full payment is required at the time of booking your reservation and is non-refundable if cancelled at any time. Transfers, date changes and early departures are not permitted or full payment is forfeited.

 

Resort Amenity Fee

Please be advised that in addition to your room rate, there will be a resort amenity fee of $55 per night (already included in the Total Amount). This fee includes:

  • Bicycle rentals
  • Access to the private Watersound Beach Club® amenities which includes a private beach, two pools, two restaurants, towel service, daily beach chairs and umbrellas, and sports courts
  • Access to the private Camp Creek® amenities including three pools, the wellness center, racquet center, and three restaurants
  • Access to three private golf courses: The Third, Shark's Tooth and Camp Creek® Golf Course (green fees apply).

 

Age Requirements

No reservations will be made to individuals under the age of 25 unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. Any reservation made under false pretenses will be subject to forfeiture of advance deposit. Further, the party will either not be permitted to check in or will be asked to vacate the property.

 

Pets

Pets are prohibited at the Watersound Inn except for designated rooms. A maximum of two (2) domestic, housebroken pets that are less than 50lbs each are welcome in the designated pet-friendly rooms which must be requested at the time of booking to ensure availability. Otherwise, we will be happy to recommend area kennels should you require this assistance. Failure to follow pet policies will result in a minimum $250 charge for additional housekeeping and/or damages.

  • There is a non-refundable pet fee of $100 due upon arrival.
  • Pets are not to be left unattended in the unit at any time and must be on a leash while in public areas.
  • Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets in all outdoor areas.
  • Guests will be responsible for any pet damages and/or additional cleaning.
  • Please be advised that Walton County does not allow pets on the beach unless you are a resident with a permit.

Failure to follow pet policies will result in a minimum $250 charge for additional housekeeping and/or damages. When pets are included in the reservation, the applicable pet fee is processed manually after the reservation is received, which may result in a processing delay of approximately one (1) business day.

 

Smoking

Smoking is prohibited in the Watersound Inn. Failure to follow smoking policy will result in a minimum $250 charge for additional housekeeping and/or damages.

 

 


Club & Resort Policies

 

Watersound Inn guests must adhere to the following policies at all times when present at any on-site amenities or other Watersound Club® facilities.

 

  1. General Conduct & Courtesy

    1. Be respectful of other guests and Members at all times; loud or offensive language isn’t permitted.
    2. Follow staff instructions; certain areas or amenities may close temporarily for maintenance, events, or weather.
    3. Comply with all posted signs and local laws (especially for alcohol service and beach safety).
    4. Outside food & beverages and private coolers are not permitted anywhere on Club facilities.
    5. Smoking/vaping only in designated areas.
    6. Phones and devices: set to silent; use headphones for audio.
    7. Pets are not permitted, except approved service animals and only where allowed.
    8. Firearms, fireworks, and drones are not permitted on Club property.
    9. Please drive cautiously and park only in designated spaces.
    10. Adults are responsible for the conduct and safety of the minors in their care.
    11. Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times across all venues.
    12. All guests must follow all dress codes and etiquette standards listed below.
  2. Golf

    1. Etiquette & Pace of Play
      1. Begin on #1 tee unless directed by golf staff; no cutting in or practicing on the course.
      2. Keep pace—an 18-hole round should finish in ~4 hours 20 minutes. Allow faster groups to play through when asked.
      3. Repair ball marks, rake bunkers, and fill divots with sand.
      4. Obey all “course closed” or “cart path only” notices and evacuate if lightning is indicated.
    2. Attire (mandatory)
      1. Men
        1. Collared or mock-neck shirts with sleeves; golf slacks or golf shorts no more than ~4" above the knee.
        2. Not allowed: tank tops, T-shirts, denim, cut-offs, gym shorts, sweatpants, swimwear.
      2. Women
        1. Golf shirts; dresses, skirts, skorts, slacks, or golf shorts no more than ~4" above the knee.
        2. Not allowed: halter tops, tank tops, T-shirts, denim, cut-offs, sweatpants, swimwear.
      3. Footwear
        1. Soft-spike or spikeless golf shoes required.
           
    3. Carts & Coolers
      1. Follow cart-path rules and signage; never drive through hazards or near tees/greens.
      2. Drivers must be 16+ with a valid license/permit (learners must be with an adult).
      3. Max two riders and two bags per cart.
      4. No outside coolers; Club-supplied coolers only.
    4. Practice Facilities
      1. Use practice balls only on the range or designated areas.
      2. Proper golf attire required on the range and practice greens.
  3. Tennis & Pickleball

    1. Court reservations may be required; check in at the racquet center pro shop when open.
    2. Play is generally limited to 75 minutes for singles and 90 minutes for doubles when others are waiting.
    3. Proper tennis/pickleball attire and court shoes required.
    4. Not allowed: graphic T-shirts, undershirts, cut-offs, denim, swimwear.
    5. No glass on or near courts; no skateboards, bikes, or similar items on courts.
    6. Maintain good etiquette—no racquet/paddle throwing, profanity, or excessive noise.
  4. Pools, Waterslide & Cabanas

    1. General Pool Rules
      1. Swim at your own risk and only during posted hours; pools may close for weather or maintenance.
      2. Shower before entering pools.
      3. Children 12 and under must be actively supervised by an adult; non-swimmers must remain within arm’s reach.
      4. Only snug, waterproof swim diapers are permitted for children who are not toilet trained.
      5. No glass, outside food & beverage, or coolers in pool areas. Poolside food and beverage service is available from Bark ‘N Brine.
      6. Family-friendly swimwear is required; cover-ups and shoes are required outside pool areas.
      7. Use headphones for any audio; no speakers.
      8. No running, rough play, diving, or throwing objects.
      9. Reserve chairs only while present; items may be removed after 30 minutes of absence.
      10. Lazy river: inner tubes are required; other flotation devices and most toys are not permitted.
    2. Waterslide
      1. Operates only when an attendant is present; may close for safety/maintenance.
      2. Riders must be at least 48" tall, able to swim, and under 300 lbs.
      3. One rider at a time; feet-first, on your back, arms crossed.
      4. Proper swimwear only—no metal rivets, zippers, or jewelry. No tubes, mats, or life jackets on the slide.
    3. Adult Lap Pool & Cabanas
      1. Adult lap pool is for ages 21+; 30-minute limit per lane when others are waiting.
      2. Cabanas (21+) are reservable in set time blocks; maintain a quiet environment and use headphones only.
      3. No outside food & beverage or coolers in cabanas.
  5. Wellness Center

    1. Use at your own risk; follow posted instructions and staff guidance.
    2. Proper workout attire and closed-toe athletic shoes required; no swimwear, denim, flip-flops, or spiked golf shoes.
    3. Bring only water/sports drinks in non-spill containers; no food, smoking, or alcohol.
    4. Wipe down equipment after use and return weights to racks.
    5. 30-minute limit on cardio machines when others are waiting.
    6. Keep phones on silent; take calls briefly and away from others if possible.
    7. Minors:
      1. 15–17 may use facilities unsupervised only if they’ve completed the Junior Fitness Certification (JFC).
      2. 12–14 may use facilities with a parent/guardian or Club-approved trainer after JFC.
      3. 11 and under may not use the Wellness Center (except under direct instruction by a Club-approved trainer).
  6. Private Beach

    1. Swim at your own risk; no lifeguards on duty. Obey beach flag warnings and local ordinances.
    2. Family-friendly swimwear is required; cover-ups and shoes are required outside pool areas.
    3. Stay off dunes and do not disturb dune vegetation or wildlife; this is strictly enforced.
    4. No glass on the beach; pack out all trash.
    5. No campfires, camping, or removal of beach sand.
    6. Tents/shelters may be limited by local ordinance; fully enclosed tents are not allowed.
    7. Dogs on the beach are strictly regulated by county permit and hours; service animals excepted.
    8. Keep audio at a level that cannot be heard 100 feet away; use headphones when possible.
  7. Food & Beverage

    1. All food & beverage consumed at Club venues must be purchased on property (no outside catering, food, or drinks).
    2. Gratuity may be automatically added to checks per Club policy.
  8. Safety, Property & Liability

    1. Use all facilities, equipment, and golf carts at your own risk.
    2. Report accidents or unsafe conditions to staff immediately.
    3. Please treat Club property with care; costs for damage may be charged to the responsible guest.
  9. Changes to Policies

    1. Guidelines may be updated or waived for certain events or at the Club Operator’s discretion. Always follow posted rules and staff direction.
