WaterSound Inn is a boutique hotel situated within the second and third floors of The GateHouse at WaterSound Beach, an entrance landmark of the prestigious WaterSound Beach community. With its impressive Nantucket contemporary-style design, each of the eleven spacious suites is professionally decorated and has private furnished balconies. The GateHouse building, designed by Gund Partnership Architects, has a shape derived from the historic 1887-era W.G. Low House in Rhode Island, a unique summer cottage beneath an expansive triangular gable. It is home to the popular Bruno’s Pizza Shop, a fitness center, and a post office.
Private access to the nearby Watersound Beach Club is also included with each guest stay at WaterSound Inn. Overlooking the towering dunes that frame the Gulf of Mexico, the beach club includes two breath-taking 7,000-squarefoot zero-entry pool that mirrors the natural shapes of the remarkable dune lakes found throughout the area. The club also features a full-service restaurant, indoor and outdoor terrace dining, an open-air full-service bar and shaded arbors. A pristine sugar-white sand beach lies on the other side, a short stroll along the boardwalk.
As a part of the St. Joe Hospitality portfolio, our distinctive hotel property offers guests access to a host of amenities, including private golf and beach club access, complimentary bicycle use, kayak, canoe, pontoon boat and stand-up paddle board rentals, catered beach bonfires and much more.
